England’s Medieval Festival:
Herstmonceux, ENGLAND.
Every year the English Medieval Festival is hosted at Herstmonceux Castle in Sussex where you are transported back in time to Merry Olde England, and where you can partake in a multitude of activities that were commonplace in the Middle Ages. Jousting, archery, and banquets, falconry displays, puppet shows and living history enactments.
A festival renowned around the world, where visitors come from far and wide to take part, the vast majority in period costume.
The visual identity takes its design cues from this period in history while marrying it with a modern sensibility. The primary palette of blue and yellow was a client request as it represents the brand colours of the holding company.
Branding elements included a website, festival banners, and t-shirts to be sold on site. Despite all the creative juices poured into this project, the client never implemented it and it never saw the light of day.
